Mersi frumos(nu am vazut primul post
).
I just very recently had a conversation with a Sector AD.
They fall into 2 categories.
1) Swiss made with swiss movements (assembled in Switzerland). These say "Swiss Made" on the bottom, and some dont even have this written even though they are swiss made.
2) Assembled in Italy with Swiss movements (very few from the line).
The quality is amazing regardless of where they are assembled. I held 4 of them, and the built quality is top notch.
They do not use Japanese movements (not that that would bother me, but just to clarify).
Indeed Sector doesn't seem to be trying hard to get into the US market for some reason. They are widely available in Europe though, and do have a solid following.
sector no limits is no more. sector, pirelli, are under another company now. no telling what the build quality is anymore. I have some of the old SGE650 300m divers in quartz and automatics. those were swiss made. service merchandise used to sell them. they also sold tag heuer but got popped for selling refurbed tags as new. the original watches came in a leather watch wallet. any sector that arrives new in a plastic box is from the new company.
Cam asta e situatia in USA. Oricum pe mine nu ma intereseaza ca mecanismul este ETA (piese se gasesc),cureaua e cu prindere universala. Ceea ce ma interesa era sa fie bine facut ceea ce si este.
Uite ce ceasuri au facut:
