The only large-scale produced regulator featuring a free-oscillating hairspring. The end of the spring is fixed between two rollers, adjusting actually its length (photo at the bottom). Rolex's unimaginative solution by troublesome weight screws on the balance is replaced here by a sophisticated micro mechanism - both eliminate the isochronism error due to the gap between the regulator pins.)
